Storage and transportation

The cable should be stored in a dry, ventilated place, away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Avoid severe impact during transportation and ensure that the packaging is intact.

Inspection before installation

Check whether the cable appearance is intact and ensure that there is no damage.

Ensure that the cable is wound smoothly and without knots.

Laying and fixing

The cable should be supported regularly to avoid excessive stretching due to hanging too long.

There should be fixing points at both ends of each cable section to ensure that the cable does not move.

Testing and inspection

After completion, perform insulation resistance test to ensure that the electrical performance of the cable is good.

High voltage test ensures the electrical stability of the cable.

Conductor material: Aluminum stranded wire (AAC)

Rated voltage: 0.6/1kV or 10kV

Maximum operating temperature: 70℃-90℃

Maximum short-circuit temperature of conductor: 160℃ (short-circuit time does not exceed 5 seconds)

Laying temperature: not less than -20℃

Standard certification: IEC 61089, BS 215, GB/T 1179


Test voltage:

Aluminum stranded wire overhead cables with rated voltage of 0.6/1kV should withstand a voltage test of 3500V for 1 minute.

Aluminum stranded wire overhead cables with rated voltage of 10kV should withstand a voltage test of 18kV (12kV for light type) for 1 minute.
