JKY polyethylene insulated overhead cable is a cable designed for overhead power transmission and distribution systems. It uses a copper conductor with high conductivity and is covered with a polyethylene (PE) insulation layer with excellent weather resistance. This cable is suitable for overhead lines with a rated voltage of 1kV and below, and is widely used in urban and rural power transmission, as well as internal power distribution systems of industrial and mining enterprises.

Usage Characteristics

Experimental performance data:

Conductor material: High-purity annealed copper, in accordance with ASTM B3/B8 standards.

Insulation material: Polyethylene (PE), with excellent electrical insulation and environmental resistance.

Operating temperature range: -20℃ to +70℃.

Laying temperature: The laying environment temperature should not be lower than -20℃.

Bending radius: The minimum allowable bending radius of the cable is 4 times the outer diameter of the cable.

Electrical performance: The cable should be able to withstand a withstand voltage test of 3.5kV AC voltage for 1 minute without insulation breakdown.
