Widely Use:

It can be used to connect and transmit control cables for control signals, such as signal transmission between control devices such as PLC and DCS.

It can be used to connect various instruments and sensors, including temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors, etc., to transmit instrument signals or monitor the status of equipment.

It can be used to connect control cables of robots, automation equipment and control units to achieve control, monitoring and data transmission of robots and equipment.

KVVR cables can be used as connecting cables in communication networks such as industrial Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, etc. to achieve data communication and information exchange between devices.

Power wiring: It can be used for low-voltage power wiring, such as electrical wiring inside buildings, electrical equipment connection, etc.

Advantage:

1. Multi-core design: the common ones are 2-core, 3-core, 4-core, etc.

2.The conductor insulation material of KVVR cables usually uses PVC.

3. Flexibility: KVVR cable has high flexibility and bending performance, is easy to install and route, and is suitable for occasions that require frequent movement or bending.

4. Anti-interference ability: Some KVVR cables may have a shielding layer to reduce the impact of external electromagnetic interference on the signal.

KVVR Cable Selection Problem

How to choose the right conductor cross section? The choice of conductor cross section mainly depends on the size of the load current. The larger the current, the larger the conductor cross section should be to ensure the current carrying capacity of the cable.

How to choose the right number of cores? The choice of the number of cores depends on the complexity of the circuit. The more devices that need to be connected in the circuit, the more cores should be.

How to choose the right insulation level? The choice of insulation level depends on the working voltage. The higher the voltage, the higher the insulation level should be.

How to choose the right sheath material? The choice of sheath material depends on the laying environment. If the environment is harsh, such as high temperature, high humidity, corrosiveness, etc., corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant sheath materials should be selected.

KVVR Cable Installation Problem

What is the bending radius of KVVR cable? The bending radius of KVVR cable is generally not less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable, and for cables with armored or copper tape shielding structures, it is not less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable. Too small a bending radius will damage the cable and affect its service life.

What are the requirements for the laying environment of KVVR cable? The laying environment temperature of KVVR cable should not be lower than 0℃. If the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the cable should be preheated. Avoid sharp-angle bending, extrusion and other mechanical damage during laying.

How to deal with the joints of KVVR cables? The joints of KVVR cables should use special joints and be connected according to the prescribed process to ensure that the joints have good electrical performance and mechanical strength.

Problems with the Use of KVVR Cables

What is the rated temperature of KVVR cables? The rated temperature of KVVR cables is generally 70℃. Long-term operation exceeding the rated temperature will accelerate the aging of the cable and shorten its service life.

Can KVVR cables replace RVV cables? Although KVVR cables and RVV cables are both control cables, they cannot be replaced at will due to their different structures and performances. Generally speaking, RVV cables cannot replace KVVR cables, but KVVR cables can replace RVV cables under certain conditions.

What are the reasons for KVVR cable failure? There are many reasons for KVVR cable failure, the most common of which are: insulation aging, mechanical damage, overload, short circuit, poor joints, etc.

Other Issues

What is the flame retardant performance of KVVR cables? Some KVVR cables have flame retardant properties, but not all KVVR cables have flame retardant properties. If flame retardant properties are required, flame retardant KVVR cables should be selected.

How long is the life of KVVR cables? The life of KVVR cables is related to factors such as the use environment, load current, and laying method. Generally, the normal service life is 15-20 years.
