Copper Conductor PVC Insulated PVC Sheathed Control Cable

Control Cable-KVV

Shenxing Cable Group specializes in the production of KVV control cables, which are widely used in automation equipment, instrumentation, monitoring systems, power protection and measurement, etc. Our KVV cables have become the first choice for industries such as robotics, manufacturing, construction, and power due to their excellent flexibility, bending resistance, and oil resistance. Whether it is an industrial automation production line or an intelligent control system for commercial buildings, Shenxing KVV cables can provide stable and reliable power transmission.

Standard:

Standard

Widely Use:

Suitable for wiring of control, signal, protection and measurement systems with rated voltages of 450/750V and below or 0.6/1kV and below.

Control cable: cable signal for power supply on residential and commercial building and industrial control facility circuits.

Automatic control cable: Control signals are transmitted between equipment for residential, commercial, and security installations, as well as to prevent inter-core interference and external noise.

Advantage:

Multi-core design: the common ones are 2-core, 3-core, 4-core, etc.

The conductor insulation material of KVVR cables usually uses PVC.

Flexibility: KVVR cable has high flexibility and bending performance, is easy to install and route, and is suitable for occasions that require frequent movement or bending.

Anti-interference ability: Some KVVR cables may have a shielding layer to reduce the impact of external electromagnetic interference on the signal.

KVV Cable Selection Problem

How to choose the right conductor cross section? The choice of conductor cross section mainly depends on the size of the load current. The larger the current, the larger the conductor cross section should be to ensure the current carrying capacity of the cable.

How to choose the right number of cores? The choice of the number of cores depends on the complexity of the circuit. The more devices that need to be connected in the circuit, the more cores should be.

How to choose the right insulation level? The choice of insulation level depends on the working voltage. The higher the voltage, the higher the insulation level should be.

How to choose the right sheath material? The choice of sheath material depends on the laying environment. If the environment is harsh, such as high temperature, high humidity, corrosiveness, etc., corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant sheath materials should be selected.

KVV Cable Installation Problem

What is the bending radius of KVV cable? The bending radius of KVV cable is generally not less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable, and for cables with armored or copper tape shielding structures, it is not less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable. Too small a bending radius will damage the cable and affect its service life.

What are the requirements for the laying environment of KVV cable? The laying environment temperature of KVV cable should not be lower than 0℃. If the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the cable should be preheated. Avoid sharp-angle bending, extrusion and other mechanical damage during laying.

How to deal with the joints of KVV cables? The joints of KVV cables should use special joints and be connected according to the prescribed process to ensure that the joints have good electrical performance and mechanical strength.

Problems with the Use of KVV Cables

What is the rated temperature of KVV cables? The rated temperature of KVV cables is generally 70℃. Long-term operation exceeding the rated temperature will accelerate cable aging and shorten the service life.

Can KVV cables replace RVV cables? Although KVV cables and RVV cables are both control cables, they cannot be replaced at will due to different structures and performances. Generally speaking, RVV cables cannot replace KVV cables, but KVV cables can replace RVV cables under certain conditions.

What are the reasons for KVV cable failure? There are many reasons for KVV cable failure, the most common of which are: insulation aging, mechanical damage, overload, short circuit, poor joints, etc.

Other Issues

What is the flame retardant performance of KVV cables? Some KVV cables have flame retardant properties, but not all KVV cables have flame retardant properties. If there is a requirement for flame retardant properties, flame retardant KVV cables should be selected.

How long is the life of KVV cables? The life of KVV cables is related to factors such as the use environment, load current, and laying method. Under normal circumstances, the normal service life is 15-20 years.
