Rubber Sheathed Cable-H05RN-F
The harmonised rubber-sheathed cable H05RN-F is the perfect solution when it comes to securely connecting small technical devices to the power supply. This cable is predominantly used in private homes or in industrial installationsthat expect a light to medium mechanical stress. The rubber cable is also perfect for use in kitchensbecause the robust material of the outer sheath can come into contact with oil and grease, without any decline in quality or condition. Thanks to the materials that make the H05RN-F cable flexible, it can be used both in dry and wet rooms and outside.

Structure of the H05RN-F connection cable
The cores of the H05RN-F rubber-sheathed cable are in layers and are made of fine-wire, bare copper in accordance with VDE 0295. The core insulation is made of flexible rubber and has excellent dynamic properties. The thermal properties of the cable allow it to be used in a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C. For installation indoors, the H05RN-F cable has flame-retardant properties; outside, the cold-resistant and UV-resistant properties ensure that the material and thus the function of the cable are preserved. The approved nominal voltage is 300 V between the phase conductor and the earth potential and 500 V between the phase conductors.
Areas of application of the cable H05RN-F
The Lapp connection cable is primarily used in smaller installations and works, e.g. in electrical appliances in a private home or in industry. It is used both on small electrical appliances in a home or in offices, on hand-held inspection lamps and on fairy lights and electrical decorations. It is also suitable for use as a construction cable and provides a reliable connection. The heat-insulating material, chloroprene rubber, is the material Neopren®, which is mainly known in the automotive industry and in the clothing industry in the sports sector.

Features
Main features
Excellent softness and bendability
YQ(W) and YZ(W) rubber-sheathed cables have excellent flexibility and are particularly suitable for use in environments with multiple non-directional bends. The cables will not twist or deform during long-term use, ensuring that they can be easily moved and bent in various devices.
Cold, oil and wear resistance
These cables have good cold resistance (-35°C) and can maintain excellent electrical properties in low temperature environments.
Lightweight and small outer diameter
YQ(W) and YZ(W) cables have small outer diameters and are light in weight, making them easy to install and operate.
High weather resistance
W-type cables use highly weather-resistant sheaths that can resist ultraviolet radiation, oxidation and other factors in daily environments, making them suitable for long-term use in outdoor environments.
Summary
YQ(W) and YZ(W) rubber sheathed flexible cables are high-performance cables, especially suitable for connecting various mobile electrical equipment and tools, with excellent flexibility, cold resistance, oil resistance, wear resistance and high safety. What are medium and light rubber sheathed cables (YQ(W)/YZ(W) type)?
Answer: Medium and light rubber sheathed cables (YQ(W)/YZ(W) type) are cables designed for mobile electrical equipment, with good softness, cold resistance, oil resistance and wear resistance. They are suitable for power transmission and connection of various light and medium-sized power tools, household appliances, instruments and meters and other equipment.
What is the difference between YQ(W) type and YZ(W) type?
Answer: YQ(W) type is a light rubber sheathed cable suitable for small electrical equipment such as household appliances and instruments and meters. YZ(W) type is a medium rubber sheathed cable suitable for medium-sized power tools and equipment, with high mechanical strength and suitable for bearing certain external forces.
What is the operating temperature range of YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cables?
Answer: The long-term operating temperature of YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cables does not exceed 65℃. Within this temperature range, the cables can work stably and ensure electrical safety.
What are the main features of these cables?
Answer: The main features of YQ(W)/YZ(W) cables include:
Excellent flexibility, suitable for multiple bending in non-directional directions;
Cold resistance, able to work normally in environments as low as -35°C;
Oil resistance and wear resistance, suitable for use in harsh environments;
Small outer diameter, light weight, easy to install and operate.
How strong is the wear resistance and oil resistance of YQ(W)/YZ(W) cables?
Answer: YQ(W)/YZ(W) cables use high-quality rubber sheaths and have excellent wear and oil resistance. It is especially suitable for industrial environments, outdoor equipment and occasions exposed to oil and dirt, and can effectively protect cables from damage by the external environment.
Is the YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cable suitable for high-voltage applications?
Answer: The YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cable is suitable for the connection of low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical equipment (usually not exceeding 1.14 kV), such as household appliances, small power tools and mobile electrical equipment. For high-voltage applications, cables designed for high voltage should be selected.
What is the structure of the cable?
Answer: The YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cable usually consists of a conductor composed of multiple copper strands, wrapped with a rubber insulation layer on the outside, and then wrapped with a rubber sheath with wear-resistant, cold-resistant and oil-resistant properties. The cable structure ensures excellent electrical insulation performance and mechanical strength.
What is the minimum bending radius of the YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cable?
Answer: The minimum bending radius of the YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cable is usually 6 times the outer diameter of the cable. During use, ensure that the bending radius is not less than this value to avoid affecting the performance and life of the cable.
Are these cables suitable for long-term outdoor use?
Answer: YQ(W)/YZ(W) type cables have high weather resistance and can be used outdoors for a long time. The W-type sheath is also UV-resistant and aging-resistant, and can resist the effects of sunlight and bad weather. Therefore, it is suitable for equipment that is used outdoors for a long time or exposed to sunlight.
